Kissing Spine – also known as overriding dorsal spinous processes – can develop due to several contributing factors. Common causes include poor saddle fit, improper training, and posture issues that allow the horse to move with its head elevated, back hollow, and core muscles disengaged.  This condition can be very painful for the horse. Early
