Reining is a Western Riding competition for horses where the riders guide the horses through a precise pattern of circles, spins, and stops. All work is done at the lope (a slow, relaxed version of the horse gait more commonly known worldwide as the canter) and gallop; the fastest of the horse gaits. Reining horses require great agility and co-ordination, excellent reflexes, stamina and a capacity for sudden bursts of speed.
Reining horses can develop stress and strain in the back and hindquarters, as well as the entire length of the hind legs. The hocks are especially affected since these horses are required to perform spectacular sliding stops that put more stress on these areas.
Equissage is a safe, easy to use, natural, non-aggressive and non-invasive way to effectively warm up and cool down your horse, prevent common issues, improve performance and maintain your horse in peak condition.
Voted “Best New Horse Product in the World” in 2000 BETA UK, Reining riders world wide love how Equissage provides a full body workout, equivalent to a 10km walk for their competition horse. Equissage gently penetrates through 4 foot of bone and 2 foot of tissue to provide the following benefits to Reining horses:
Equissage is an essential tool in improving the health and performance of horses in every stable.
