Equissage is a division of CT Healthcare Pty Ltd who have been in business for over 61 years. Equissage is a product that has been involved in the equine industry for 40 years. Niagara Therapy also a division of CT Healthcare has carried out Medical Research on all their products since the early 1950’s. It is through this research that Equissage was recognised as a product that could be of assistance to the animal world and in particular throughout the horse world. Equissage Physiotherapy evolved to a point where it was recognised as ‘The Best New Horse Product in the World’ in the year 2000. The secret behind Equissage is the unique 3 dimensional motor which produces Cycloid Vibration Therapy [CVT]. This unique action has been medically proven in Teaching Hospitals, Medical Universities and Research Institutes throughout the world to assist with increased blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, muscle relaxation and communication between nerves and muscles.

Conventional units produce aggressive ‘slapping’ or ‘pounding’ vibrations of high amplitude which are on a single plane and have a high fundamental frequency, alternately high and low acceleration rates and ultimately an uncomfortable sensation and in many cases it can be damaging to muscles and tissue.

The Niagara/Equissage units have a very special suspension system, which is the reason it does not generate a single-plane vibration however a three-dimensional ‘Cycloidal Vibration’ in a circular, horizontal and vertical motion.
