The concept of Equissage was designed for humans and subsequently refined for horses. This all came about through ongoing research conducted in Hospitals, Medical Universities and Research Institutions.
This form of treatment has been proven to be totally non-aggressive, natural and free of drugs and side effects. Initially we were very surprised to note that even our flightier, more nervous horses accepted the Equissage machine enthusiastically. It has an amazingly soothing effect on them and we have yet to encounter any resistance to the treatment. This is a tool we simply would not be without and we rejoice in the benefits it has brought to our 20 strong herd.

The health of our horses is paramount. My success depends on my show jumping team being as fit and healthy as possible. Equissage has been a substantial investment in their welfare and we rely on it for the condition of our horses, treating specific ailments/injuries and to warm up and down. The difference after use is obvious.

At competitions I use the Equissage to pre-warm up to assist them in being relaxed, soft and supple and to cool down to relax muscles after competing. The Hand Unit is great for areasof particular focus, such as the legs and neck. Equissage has proved to be an invaluable addition to the stable.
